Board games are a terrific way to boost learning for children beginning around 18 months. In addition to learning about letters, colors, counting, etc., kids learn how to take turns and about sportsmanship. Parents playing with children also have to step away from the multitasking that makes up most of their day. This can be a special time for a child and a parent.
